Early in the new year, Ourside began the design and development of the SpaceOut website. As this was a brochure website (not requiring any complex functionalities or plugins), we designed a simple sitemap that allowed potential customers to quickly and easily browse SpaceOut’s offering.
To make the customer’s journey as straightforward as possible, we ensured that the main components of the business were communicated through a few targeted pages:
Garden Rooms (ie. product information), Process, FAQ, News, About Us, and Enquiry.
A colour scheme and overall theme were then tailored to the SpaceOut logo, which the company had come prepared with.
Enhancing the new website with our copywriting and SEO services.
There’s no question that great web design is a must. However, even the most attractive website in the world would be useless without quality web copy. That’s why we offer a copywriting service for an additional fee. In this case, our in-house copywriter optimised, proofread, and edited some of the content to ensure that SpaceOut’s brand message was coherent and unified.
To guarantee that SpaceOut continues to stand out in a competitive market, our Senior Project Manager, Rose, performed on-page Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), including keyword optimisation and meta-tags.
These actions help websites appear more discoverable and desirable in search engines. Rose will continue to provide this service to SpaceOut as part of ongoing SEO work that can be built into our web design and maintenance packages.
