The eureka moment came when two teams were playing each other in the Galway Senior Football Championship and Paul and a teammate were sitting in the car in Monivea village, scrolling through their phones looking for the most recent updates on the GAA fixtures and couldn’t find live scores anywhere. It was in this moment Paul decided something needed to be done here and surely there is a simple, easy solution to this problem.

Built with the latest technologies such as React Native, Node.js and Angular. This stack allows us to build fast and reliable software while having the confidence that the stack won’t be deprecated anytime soon as it’s backed by companies such as Facebook and Google
The Realtime system is built on Socket.io and Redis. This allows What’s The Scór to handle thousands of users with a reasonable server configuration.
